I have been working in semiconductor supply chain for more 10 years holding various roles.

Business landscape is everchanging and the supply chain have adopt to new strategy to adopt to the new changes to ensure companies stay competitive. Thus, my main objectives for the past 5 years have been helping BU:
Initiate cost saving project (long and short term)
Ensure that shipments are deliver on time with forward planning.

Current role, I work closely with BD, Sales Ops, Engineering and Suppliers to achieve the goals set by LAM executive team.

• Improve Order Accuracy Project by William Shen through, Gemba, VSM, Kaizen.
• Build Macro file to crunch the data from Build Plan. The Macro file reduce man hour by 2 hours.
• Minimize inventory by 10% – 15% through data analysis, understanding the end to end process, working with cross functional team and establish JIT process with the help from sourcing and purchasing team.
• Accuracy of forecast increase from 80% - 90% by analysing past data, understanding the market demand and the yield rate from engineering team. Thus, this lead to reduction of cost significantly.
• Resolve the surge in demand from Customers and fulfil all backorders in 6 months by improvising the process with the support from management team. Improve process by identifying the non-value-added process and reducing the manual work through automation. Thus, reducing the total lead time for the process by 20%.
• Assist manager to establish an end to end process (process flow, work procedure, creating Macro file and making use of IBM Watson to generate report) for both OEM and CSP that comply to internal audit requirement.
