I am passionate about applying technology to meet real-world needs. Since starting my career at URA in 2000, I’ve grown from Systems Analyst to Director of the IT Applications Department, leading key initiatives such as URA’s first modern GIS, 3D platforms, and the 3D visualisation space.
At MOE, I served as Deputy Director of the IT Division , overseeing digital platforms supporting 400,000 parents, 40,000 staff, and 300 schools. I led Agile, Cloud-based projects like Parents Gateway, mINSIGHTS, mCARE, and the MOE Call Centre, and revamped MOE’s corporate website—ranked top 3 in usability among government sites.
Currently at SLA, I lead a department managing geospatial platforms, systems, and data—including GeoSpace, INLIS, and OneMap (120M+ API calls/month). I built a 9-member in-house OneMap engineering team and lead the Barrier-Free Initiative for accessible navigation. I also secured over $30M in central funding and nine permanent roles to support OneMap and the continued development of GeoSpace.
