- Map updates: Update and adjust maps as necessary whenever there are permanent road feature changes
- Map reviews: Review map data changes done by teammates to ensure map data correctness and accuracy from about 15 other teammates in the team
- Being the first point of contact for all map related queries, bug reporting and change requests from the operations team and other departments such as planner, controls and perception who consume map data
- Map validation: Liaise and work with the operations team to schedule tests to validate map-related changes, participating in the autonomous drives, or review manual or autodrives log files
- In house app: Work closely with map software developers to replicate and report software bugs and actively contributes for feature requests for in house mapping software
- Training: Part of the training team that conduct training and review training maps and give feedback to newcomers/trainees and interns on their map annotation skills
- Working processes: Actively contributes to generating suggestions to change of workflow processes for mapping operations on how to improve work efficiency and productivity
