• Installing and administering different versions Red hat Linux and other flavour’s.
• Good experience in Configuring new LUN and adding new disk from SAN side and VMware host as well.
• RAW disk allocation for ASM configuration in database side.
• Having good knowledge in Redhat package manager(RPM) for managing OS packages.

• Troubleshooting booting related issues, creating boot records, working with system maintenance mode, accessing rootvg in system maintenance mode, recovering root password, fixing booting related issues, working with boot list.
• Performance problems determination using vmstat, topas, iostat and finding resolution by analysing the performance reports.
• Adding the Virtual SCSI and virtual Ethernet adapters to the VIO & LPAR Partitions Configuring Shared Ethernet Adapter (SEA).
