Military logistics officer with 20 years of experience in human resource management, transportation operations, and inventory management within MINDEF/SAF. Beyond providing training support to the units, I supported national-level operations and events such as Joint Taskforce (COVID Pandemic), SEA Games 2015 and National Day Parade 21 & 24. I always lean on my leadership strength to guide and encourage the people under my charge, and encourage them to overcome challenges to make things better.

  • Commanded a company responsible for troop-lifting in military operations.
  • Maintained a high safety standards by developing operator competency, ensuring fleet serviceability, and sustaining a high level of operational readiness.

Assistant Logistics Officer, HQ 9 Division (2017 – 2018)

  • Oversaw logistics for Training Institute activities including accommodation, meals and training stores and resupplys.

Deputy Cluster Commander, Jurong Camp (2018 – 2019)

  • Directed logistics support for training operations, camp infrastructure, and cookhouse management for Jurong Camp.
  • Managed the readiness and supportability of equipment as well as the service quality to the units in Jurong camp to allow positive training and experience.

Assistant Logistics Officer, HQ Guards (2020 – 2024)

  • Coordinated Division-level logistics support to sub-units.
  • Supported multiple national-level operations such as the Joint Taskforce (Assurance) to support and provide logistics solutions for Migrant Workers in 21 dormitories during the COVID pandemic, National level events like National Day Parade 2021 and 2024 supporting the logistics and meals for the participants.
  • Participated in bilateral exercise such as Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) with counterparts from UK, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.

Operations Trainer, Army Logistics Training Centre (2024 – present)

  • To train and coach the Operations Cell of the Combat Service Support Battalion (CSSB) in planning, decision making and control of operations in military operations.
  • Coordinate resources and training space to allow smooth In-Camp-Training for NSmen.
  • To review training manuals to improve and align the standards of training. One such review was the introduction of drones operations into the unit to improve the efficiency of area surveillance prior to deployment.

Accomplishments

  • SEA Games 2015 – Transport Committee, Organizing Secretariat, Bus Services Led planning and end-to-end execution of bus operations for international athletes, allowing safe and reliable movement throughout the Games.
  • Oversea Exercise 2018 – Forward Support Group (FSG), Supply OIC Assigned as the Supply OIC, I assisted the Forward Support Group Commander in the planning and execution to support 2000pax in an overseas exercise. This includes the preparation of accommodation, food, equipment as well as cargo management.
  • COVID-19 Taskforce (2020) Served in Joint Taskforce (Assurance) managing logistics for migrant workers across 21 dormitories, including accommodation, food distribution, transport, and essential supplies.
  • NDP Supply OIC (2021 & 2024) As part of the Logistics & Finance Committee, I was appointed as the OIC of the provision of food and stores for the participants and committees of National Day Parade. I had the opportunity to establish a 3 years long-term meal contracts.
