- Strong empathy for the empty-nesters, and the need to educate the residents on the danger of dengue and “killer litters” made the experience at the HDB board “Heartland Ambassador programme” a meaningful one as it successfully reduced the killer litter rate and dengue rate for the next few months.

- Active participation for more than a hundred hours to carry out frequent visits to the neighbourhood near Punggol,as well as organized games and activities for the residents, made residents gained knowledge on water-saving, and were thankful towards the volunteers since the programme was meaningful and fun.

- Creativity and interpersonal skills were demonstrated through a total of no less then 60 hours of group project to plan out and carry out games and activities in the programme, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback.
