- Main responsibility was to optimise protocol for investigation of genetic polymorphisms (SNPs) in ASIAN population. Optimised protocol allowed a total of 300 samples to be processed in less than 3 days and served as benchmark for all molecular projects involving restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) strategy.
- Using conventional site directed mutagenesis strategy, SNPs in DMEs and DTs were introduced into mammalian cell lines for functional studies.
- Involved in various projects aimed at gathering information on individual genetic information that can be used for personalising cancer therapeutic intervention.
- Assist in writing of research papers and poster presentations regarding pharmacogenetics and pharmacokinetics of DMEs and DTs.
