Volunteer Experience

  • Singapore Polytechnic, Mercy Relief Fund Raising, Group Leader, 04/14, Mercy Relief is a Singapore humanitarian NGO that supports ongoing local relief efforts in countries such as India and Pakistan, The event was held on Flag Day and ran smoothly with zero incident. Highlights include leading a group of students to Little India and Chinatown to share with the public about the message of Flag Day and request for donations. Able to work in stressful situations and confident public speaking
  • Club Rainbow, Community Service, Volunteer, 11/14, Club Rainbow raises awareness of illness and chronic diseases in children by organizing public events, I facilitate an information booth to educate the public about the different diseases, severity and ways to prevent it. Took on bigger responsibility and improved my presentation skills

Singapore Polytechnic, Final Year Project (FYP) - In-vitro Hemodynamic Testing of Stentless Prosthetic Aortic Valves, 09/16, 04/17, Design an acrylic model resembling and function like a human circulation system. Performance testing on how valves (open/close) react towards clogged vessels using water to resemble blood, Utilized software such as AutoCAD and Inventor for 2D and 3D design respectively before 3D printing of the model., Achieved Silver medal for FYP Singapore Institute of Technology, Final Year Project (FYP) - Plant Design for 4 different type of mRNA vaccine production, 09/22, 11/22, Applied the knowledge of MATLAB to run a vaccine production line to ensure deadline are being met, Assigned to create plant layout, with consideration of GMP guidelines, cleanroom guidelines and airflow system

Fish Keeping and Art

I raise fighting fish on my own and also breed them. It helps me train my discipline when changing water and feeding. I draw arts to help distress from work and got the inspiration from fictional characters.
