Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the financial aspects of construction projects.
• Submission of monthly progress claims with supporting docs. to consultant & client.
• Certify of subcon's claims, and issue payment certificates.
• Submission of the supplier, subcon’ profiles & materials’ catalogue and specs complied with projects’ specs and requirements to consultant for assessment and approval prior commencement of works.
• Performed measurements for structural and architectural works to prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Estimated and analyzed work performed to request payment from clients.
• Verify materials orders that raised by purchaser or site team, budget tracking on quantity for main materials (rebars, chamber rings & sewer pipes etc.).
• Costing of variation orders, submission of VO claims to consultant and liaise with engineers and SO team until the finalization process.
• Negotiate the price with subcons, prepare cost comparison to ensure align with the budget, recommend to award subcons, issue work orders and agreement letters to subcons.
• Alternatively, participate in tendering process based on the requirement of manpower availability

• HDB - Sewer Diversion in Ang Mo Kio Central 3 & Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist to the tender manager and involve in tendering process (such as LTA, JTC, URA projects and other subcon works)
• Review tender documents and drawings and understanding the requirement for submission
• Invite for quotations, review the Subcon’ proposal, and negotiate the price
• Taking off the quantities and measurement based on the tender drawings and documents.
• Attend the discussion with technical team during the tendering process for technical matters (design, SUP, temporary works’ design, programme, construction methods etc.) for technical package submission.
• Prepare the documents (based on the requirements) for tender submission in time.

Projects

• LTA - Contract 1379- Design and Build of Enhancement Works to Existing MRT/LRT Stations and Associated Commuter Facilities
• LTA - Contract CR1079- Sewer and Water Diversion Works (Package B)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare bar bending schedule for Manhole constructions and arrange rebar orders.
• Provide manhole rebar shop drawings for site team.
• Prepare shop drawings, detail structure drawings for minor works on sites.
• Assist to senior quantity surveyor for taking off the materials quantities for works according to contract drawings and scopes of work.
• Evaluate, certify the progress claims and invoices submitted by sub-contractors and approve payment for account department.
• Responsible to maintain project documentations.
• Review and send enquires for quotations and assist the Project director to select the suppliers.
• Negotiate for quoted price and arrange purchase orders for sites.
• Work closely with the site teams to ensure proper documentation for materials control.
• Budget tracking on quantities of main materials (eg; jacking pipes, rebar).

• PUB - Construction of Link Sewers for DTSS Phase 2 Project – Schedule II Contract 1 (West Coast Highway)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for informing the Project Manager about general on-site issues in time.
• Ensuring that onsite construction works are carried out accordingly to local regulations and requirements
• Preparation of construction schedules, monitoring and tracking subcontractor’s work progress.
• Report the daily and monthly project progress to the Project Manager.
• Co-ordinate with client, suppliers & subcontractors to finish the works within the project timeline.
• Responsible to inform PM immediately if there is any delay in site daily progress.
• Attending site progress meetings with clients and main contractor on work progression and site issues.
• Documentation of all the correspondence projects and transmission to site and other related departments.
