Product: Custom Genset Packages

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and development of new customized Enclosure with all necessary support systems for Custom genset packages as per customer requirements.
• Responsible for project estimation, schedule and delivery timeline
• Responsible to ensure the quality of engineering drawings by doing Internal quality checking.
• Coordinate with counterparts to ensure the quality and on-time delivery.
• Interact with counterparts for queries clarification.
• Maintaining quality tracker internally to track the detailer’s efficiency.

Summary of Work done:

• Have worked on DTO projects which is creation of new customized genset packages as per customer requirement and current market standards.
• In specific, worked on custom enclosure design with all necessary support system to meet output requirement for custom gensets.
• Creation of 3D models in Creo as per design specifications and to create Engineering drawings to Interpret design specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are feasible to manufacture, assemble and shipping and to meet the cost, quality, and performance targets.
• Identify and resolve design Issues.
• Address production Issue arriving from shop floor while building a product.
• Assist & develop new joiners and provide technical guidance to meet delivery on time with quality.
• Conduct design reviews and made recommendations for design Improvements to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Hands on experience in hydraulic hose routing and electrical conduit routing. Have an experience of creating supplier reprints, Hose drawings also.
• Have a hands-on experience on Teamcenter upload, BNU and EDS release.

Key Project #1: Redlines (IEC)

Summary of Work done:

• IEC-Interim Engineering Change, It is a process to handle engineering changes.
• Extract the markups from SAP and understand the scope of work.
• Implementation of markup updates, update the model & drawing accordingly and done the formal engineering change.
• Interact with counterparts for queries clarification.
• Co-ordinate with counterparts to get released formal prints in SAP.
• Led this project and Responsible to ensure all IEC’s to get converted into formal print and released.
• Since, it’s a continuous process of handling all engineering changes, successfully hit all deliverables within timeline.

Key Project #2: Pneumatic hose routing for SCR

Summary of Work done:

• Scope of work is to create a hose routing for SCR system.
• Have selected a hose based on the hose pressure, hose ID, Fluid type and temperature withstand capability.
• Made a selection of couplings and adapters by the use of I/O ports sizes and thread types requirement.
• Investigated on a hose routing path based on assembly feasibility and mounting feasibility of the clips to secure the hose and decided the path.
• Routed the hose using Creo-FLD software.
• Completed the project on time with quality.

Key Project #3: Electrical Components Modeling

Summary of Work done:

• To Improve drawing accuracy and quality, Had Initiated a project called Electrical Components Modeling to create all 3D models for electrical connections instead of using bulk (It has only parameters).
• Extracted the required Input data for 3D modeling from supplier websites with the help of supplier name and some technical data.
• Have created 3D models for all electrical conduits, conduit connectors, Terminals, E-boxes, Wire splitters etc. which we were used in all our projects.
• Completed the project on time with quality.

Product: CABS (Operative Protective Structure)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 3D modeling in Creo as per design requirement and to Create engineering drawings to Interpret design specifications.
• Responsible to ensure the quality of engineering drawings by doing Internal quality checking.
• Coordinate with counterparts to ensure the quality and delivery on time.
• Maintaining quality tracker internally to track the detailer’s efficiency.
• To give guidance to detailers and assist them to create error free drawings.

Summary of Work done:

• Have worked on Creation of 3D models in Creo as per design specifications requirements.
• Have a work experience on creation of Engineering drawings to Interpret design specifications.
• Worked as a quality checker to ensure the quality of engineering drawings.
• Since CABS is a common team for various product groups of construction vehicles, Like MWL, LWL, Mining trucks, Forestry machines, OHT, Paving products, etc. Have versatile product group experience.
• Created checklists, quality documents and updated frequently as per current standards to assist creation of error free drawings.
• Have an ability to handle from Individual piece part to complex assemblies.
• Have an experience of working with versatile material components like sheet metal, plastics, Insulation materials, Rubber components and have worked on supplier reprints, Hose drawings also.
• Have work experience on NPI program and handling Engineering changes as well.
• Have a hands-on experience on Teamcenter upload, BNU and EDS release.
