Welcome to my profile. I have worked as a marketing and communications specialist for over 20 years. Being involved and leading reputation and brand development projects in different types of organizations and spheres of economy: governmental, public, private companies and sport organizations allowed me to gain an outstanding professional and networking experience.
While working in the oil and gas industry I was happy to improve my skills by attending the professional training courses in The National Investor Relations Institute in Boston (USA) and The London Stock Exchange.
For the last 4 years I’ve been working in sphere of football which has become my real passion. Throughout this period of my career, I've been recognized for my influential approach to media relations, crisis and reputation management, content creation and event management. I got lucky to lead and be a part of management teams of the most popular sport organization in Russia: Spartak Moscow FC and the Russian Premier League (RPL).
I take pride in leading recognized campaigns that significantly elevate brands presence and market visibility, such as: Spartak Moscow rebranding campaign, social media boost, producing YouTube shows, annual football award PRL Heroes and RPL Winter Cup tournament.
Nowadays I lead a fantastic and the most professional marketing and communication team in Russian sport. We are committed to develop the brand of the Russian Premier League (RPL) - the host of the national football championship. Our main goal is to make a merge of sport and entertainment on the RPL basis and make the League more attractive to the new and young audience.
We drive the boost of the RPL’s social media (more than 250% growth of audience in digital from 09/2022 till now), try new approaches to reach the audience: from a fashionable capsule to an animated logo as a part of TV graphics, annual football awards and event for football professionals and amateurs.
A few words about the RPL Winter Cup. The tournament is the most prestigious midseason football event during winter camps in Abu Dhabi. This year it was international due to the participation of two football clubs from Russia: Spartak Moscow and Rostov (managed by Valery Karpin, the national team coach), Kayrat from Kazakhstan and Shabab Alahli, the champion from the UAE. RPL Winter Cup is more than just friendly matches. It is a sort of sport festival or industry venue with padel tennis, golf and gaming activities. Me and my team were responsible for overall management: teams, stadium, national federation, UEFA and sponsor communications; marketing and digital support, guest relations. Total reach in digital was about 112 million users. Started from scratch the tournament turned to be annual.
As a director of communications in Spartak Moscow, I created and managed the reputation strategy of the most popular football club in Russia and well-known all over Europe. Besides of all types of communications: mass media, sport, international during the transfer periods. I was also involved in sponsorship activation projects and a rebranding campaign. I am proud of the fact that the club has made a turn to transparency in communications with an immediate response to fakes and different types of crises. That achievement was supported by multiple growth of the own digital media audience.
