I am a Civil Engineer seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and expertise in the field of Civil Engineering. My goal is to apply engineering principles to create sustainable structures that effectively serve their intended purpose. The process of building and witnessing the transformation from concept to creation is a source of motivation for me. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and project management. My role has involved assessing project budgets, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. I have actively contributed to the tendering process and cost estimation for roadworks, urban drainage (USD), and culvert projects.
With a strong attention to detail and a methodical approach, I have conducted comprehensive quantity takeoffs, evaluating project requirements and material quantities. I am also responsible for managing day-to-day cost reporting and maintaining project documentation for ongoing construction projects. This includes measuring and valuing work completed on-site, preparing interim payment certificates, and verifying invoices.
Through my experience, I have developed a strong foundation in quantity surveying and am eager to further expand my knowledge in the civil engineering and management sectors.
I oversaw the restoration and renovation of a two-storey building in Saidapet, where I was responsible for coordinating resources such as labor and materials, as well as managing the costs associated with various renovation tasks. This experience gave me valuable, hands-on knowledge of the daily operations in construction and provided a great sense of fulfillment and satisfaction upon the successful completion of the project.

Conducted comprehensive study, investigating the formation of disinfection byproducts by varying dosages of chlorine and chloramine, and analyzing the results using AOX Analyzer. Utilized regression analysis to derive formulas correlating disinfectant concentration, TOC, contact time, and disinfection byproduct formation. Additionally, studied the decay kinetics of chlorine and chloramine through residual experiments. Results contribute valuable insights for optimizing water treatment processes and ensuring water safety.
