Andrews Larbi

Researcher and Service Technician: Andrews is a diligent and highly motivated electromechanical technician with a comprehensive understanding of material properties and mechanical systems and a passion for innovation. My career objective is to leverage my expertise to contribute significantly to mechanical systems design, development, and optimization. I aspire to be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team where I can apply my technical and research skills and problem-solving abilities to create efficient and reliable solutions.

Development

• Mathematical models in fluid mechanics and hydraulics applied to the calculation of the parameters of Axial Piston Machines.
• Much Knowledge of material properties. (Friction, Wear, Surface Characterization, EDX analysis, XRD data analysis using Jade).
• Metallurgy Principles (Manganese and aluminum electrolysis)
• 2D and 3D flow simulation using MATLAB, ANSYS-Fluent, and Solidworks.
• Good practical skills.

Volunteering-Mentorship

• I have assisted about 15 Ph.D. candidates in their publications and thesis formatting, of which 10 had
  distinction.
• Assisted most master's students in their thesis writing and formatting skills.
• Organized a webinar for Ghanaian Students in China during my tenure of office as a media and publicity head for the National Union of Ghanaian Students-China.
• With my graphic skills, I design most national and local union flyers and video editing for publicity and
  marketing, including school and church activities.
• Assist Ph.D. and Masters students with outstanding PPT design for their presentations and conferences.
