- Operate main unit such as Main fractioner Gas Plant, Amine Unit, Caustic Treater, Sour Water Stripper and Sulphur Recovery Unit
- Shutting down and starting up single unit, whole plant and put-in circulation for every single unit
- Learned about DCS especially to support DCS operator to control the whole plant
- Carry out test run operation after maintenance work completed
- Vessel, column and heat exchanger leak test after manhole is open using pressure test (normally during TA)
- Test safety equipment such as interlock system to ensure the system is in good condition
- Carry out Lab Testing (Flash Point , Distillation (IBP and FBP), Density, Viscosity) for Hydrocarbon Product
- Water testing (Conductivity, PH, Phosphate and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS)
- Start & stop pump (centrifugal pumps, canned pumps, plunger pumps, gear pumps & stroke pumps
- Start & stop Compressor (Multi-stage and Single-stage Centrifugal type)
- Steam Turbine to running Wet Gas Compressor (Multi Stage Centrifugal type) & Reflux pumps
- Carry out boiler start-up / shut down (water tube wall, natural - circulation, forced draft, automatic combustion control)
