Summary

I am a Quality Assurance Tester, currently working in Singtel. My role as a QA is to do UAT testing and to ensure that the description and page is displayed correctly in the UAT testing platform. I also write test cases on different scenarios to prepare for any upcoming projects before executing to do the testing. If there are any defects found in UAT, the JIRA ticket will be raised and the defect will be assigned to the developers accordingly and following up on their rectification updates to ensure that the defect is fixed and to retest the scenario. When are texts which needs to be updated in the UAT environment, When there are text changes to be made, I will go to the AEM to do the authoring and to publish the page to ensure that the text is being updated in the UAT environment page.

  • To do software testing, to ensure that the software can function smoothly according to the requirement

Strength And Achievement

I am currently in Singtel for 2 years, experienced in doing testing and sanity flows in Eshop, Detox, Ecare, payment platform, and checking orders in CRM in UAT. When doing an Eshop or Detox flow and submitting an order, I would check in CRM to ensure that the order is in submitted status and the details are reflecting correctly when generating the Service Agreement (SA Form) via PDF format. To check the data details, I open the CRM to check the customer’s details and to check for any open orders to cancel so to ensure that the data will be clean in CRM. If the data does not have orders in CRM, I can raise any order ie Mobile, Sim Only Plus, Fibre or TV and submit order in CRM to close the order so that the existing data will have plans in CRM. I can use the data to login to Onepass to check whether the data is Onepass registered. If the data does not have Onepass, I can create the Onepass account so that the data can be login to account summary (Ecare) and check for the account number. If the Onepass data have outstanding bills, I can indicate any amount to pay bill in Ecare via different payment methods ie Mastercard, Visa, Amex, or Enets to check if the bill amount is different after paying bill. I am also involved in sanity verification in Production which would usually take place during midnight, to ensure that the page displays correctly in the browser and in mobile applications ie. MySingtel app, Hi!app, Heya, Eshop and Detox mobile view. Once a year, I would do Mercury UAT testing for iPhone to ensure that the Phone model, colour, and size are displayed correctly before submitting the order and receiving an email confirmation for the pre-order.
