1. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement GBC long-term infrastructure plans aligned with the mine's production goals.
• Identify and assess potential risks to the infrastructure, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Forecast future infrastructure needs and budget accordingly.

2. Design and Engineering:

• Oversee the design and engineering of new infrastructure projects, working closely with consultant/contractor to achieve design and engineering outcome.
• Ensure that all infrastructure designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications align with EPCM procedure with close cooperation with Phoenix Engineering and contractor/consultant.

3. Construction and installation:

• Manage the GBC infrastructure construction (vent doors, bridges, shops, fix facilities) and installation of new infrastructure projects.
• Manage the GBC footprint construction (drawpoint, grizzly, ore pass-chute pass, chute, rock breaker), and the installation of new footprint construction projects.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.

4. Maintenance and optimization:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all infrastructure assets at the Grasberg Block Cave.
• Monitor the performance of the infrastructure, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement innovative technologies to optimize the performance of the infrastructure.

5. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all infrastructure activities comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, and align with PTFI regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Investigate and address safety incidents promptly.

6. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and other personnel.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the team.
