• Good coordination and communication with Department of Agriculture and District Secretariat Offices for implementation of home gardening interventions

• Conduct Home Gardening training coordinate with Department of Agriculture

• Introduce IPM, IPNS and climate farming system to beneficiaries through training.

• Monitoring and promote organic home gardening techniques to beneficiaries.

Project -EDUCATION, LITERACY BOOST PROGRAMMING

• Supporting all Literacy Boost (LB) activities, technical trainings and related operation work
• Support organization of workshops and related material
• Supporting any Translations and preparatory work for workshops and training
• Support to maintain and improve active and regular working relationships with other organizations who are linked to Education Programme
• Support quality literacy assessments, and development of district Detailed Implementation Plans
• Work closely with M&E team on M&E initiatives in line with the line manager.
• Support Project Manager - Education in effective documentation of data on improved literacy outcomes, overall program successes, innovations and Promising practices related to improved literacy and disseminate through appropriate mechanisms.

• Nuwaraeliya Enhancing Gender Inclusive Socio- Economic Development in Central and Uva Provinces in Sri Lanka- Consortia project with Leads and Oxfam
• Conduct project activities by supporting to program implementation to achieve project objectives while liaising with staff in other districts
• Set up network with relevant agencies and government departments working on vocational training and women empowerment activities, to collect regular data/information in district and national levels to facilitate project
• Assist Project Manager and Technical Specialist to set up locally based main info-center and capacity building activities of information centers
• Actively promote main information center among Vocational Training provider s and potential employers attracting them to advertise their job and career opportunities through special web site
• Coordinate all capacity building and training of ToTs to various partners of project by arranging facilities and trainings programs on time as per project work plan
• Represent project in relevant forms at district level proactively identifying opportunities for advocacy at different levels
• Maintain highest levels of quality and consistency across project implementation and participate in all coordinating meetings
