  • The solution, known as Subscriber Microservices Infrastructure (SMI), encompasses Linux, Kubernetes, and various Cisco products such as UCS, Nexus, and Catalyst.
  • Team provides end-to-end support to manage this extensive infrastructure and the 5G application runs on top of this comprehensive suite of Cisco products.

  • Responsible for implementing and managing Cisco's internal IT infrastructure, which is utilized by various internal business units such as Finance, Customer Care, and Cisco Global Business.
  • Oversees the management of the data centers located in San Jose (SJC), Research Triangle Park (RTP), and Richardson, which we manage remotely.
  • Our solution includes Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), virtualization with VMware, the OpenStack cloud platform, as well as EMC and NetApp SAN and NAS storage solutions, all integrated with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
  • During the Global Data Center Project (GDCP) migration, we successfully migrated all servers, including those based on HP ProLiant and the HP-UX infrastructure for ERP and databases, to a Cisco UCS platform running Linux within a short span of time. This swift and efficient transition was recognized and appreciated by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The project had the highest visibility due to its alignment with key business priorities.
