- Conduct the WPS’s, PQR’s, and Welder’s Qualification Tests and witness Qualification Tests
- Prepare and maintain qualification records of welding procedure specifications, Procedure qualification records, and welder’s qualification test certificates
- Develop the quality control procedures to meet the customer’s statutory and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that all welding activities carried out confirms to relevant WPS’s, qualified welders, weld maps, customer specifications, codes, and standards
- Advice and resolve the welding quality issue in production
- Ensure that all materials comply with the specific project specification, Codes, and class rules/ standards
- Ensure that all fabrication activities (Fit-up, Weld preparation, cutting, fitting, bending, etc.) carried out confirms to approved drawings and relevant procedures
- Carry out all inspection in-line with ITP including precision dimensional inspection during and after machining of various types of marine and oilfield equipment
- Liaise with Clients, Classification Societies, third party inspectors, and Sub-contractor on all QA/QC related activities, meetings, and relevant issues
- Witness hydrostatic test, Proof load test, flange assembly, factory acceptance test, mechanical test, NDT, PMI, Adhesion test, PWHT, Hardness test, etc
- Carry out Steel surface preparation and protective coating inspection in-line with ITP (Washing, surface cleanliness, roughness, salt, DFT, visual, galvanizing, Pickling & Passivation, TSA, etc.)
- Ensure that all measuring instruments (Pressure/ temperature/ dimensional/ Electrical) Calibrated and the calibration results within the acceptable range
- Prepare /review relevant testing reports/ manufacturing record books to make sure that all documents comply with the specific project requirements
- Perform internal and Supplier audits to verify that the Quality Management System is conforming to the requirements and standards
- Assist to QHSE-manager during ISO, API, ASME Surveillance Audits
