Functional Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor unit operations.
• Maintain the Model of Care and conduct regular reviews.
• Train and align new hires to organization SOPs.
• Monitor Youth Workers’ portfolio and budget expenditure.
• Provide regular supervision to Senior Youth Workers and Youth Workers.
• Ensure boys and staff follow Code of Conduct.
• Plan and revise daily/holiday programmes for residents.
• Motivate and engage residents in daily programmes.
• Maintain updates of Residential Handbook and brief new residents on rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with other residential units for resident needs.
• Coordinate with MSF liaison person on reportable MSF incidents.
• Carry out investigation and provide incident reports.
• Fulfill administrative duties in support of other programmes.
• Participate in research and programme evaluation projects.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of RS in ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the Head of RS in absence.
• Update all documents in a timely manner.
• Assist in RS licensing audit.
• Plan and monitor budget and duty rostering for youth workers.
• Conduct interviews of new Youth Workers.
• Conduct performance appraisals of Youth Workers.

Functional Responsibilities

• Assist Lead, Shelter in duties and cover absences.
• Collaborate with Social Workers, Education Officers, and Programmes Unit.
• Monitor operations and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain fidelity of Model of Care.
• Oversee Youth Workers' portfolios and budget expenditures.
• Train new hires on SOP Procedures.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Senior Youth Workers.
• Plan and review daily and holiday programs.
• Ensure compliance with organization's Code of Conduct.
• Engage residents in daily programs.
• Review and distribute new Handbooks.
• Compile and provide monthly/quarterly reports.
• Adapt working hours as needed.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with organization, MSF, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare documents for management review.
• Support budget planning and duty rosters for Youth Workers.
• Provide orientation, mentorship, and supervision for new and existing Youth Workers.
• Assist Lead, Shelter and Head of Residential Services with CCTV reviews and investigations.

Functional Responsibilities:

• To conduct training for new youth workers and perform supervision of youth and lead youth workers in performing their task
• To assist in managing and contributing in SOPs, policies and regulatory requirement of the home and able to manage incident promptly and follow up on post-incident management
• Supervise and manage portfolios held by the youth workers and ensure budgeting across the unit is managed and documented and implement relevant model-of-care in accordance to the needs of the residents.

  • Provide close supervision and maintain discipline.
  • Motivate and engage residents in daily programme.
  • Regularly monitor sick residents' condition.
  • Carry out administrative work.
  • Ensure Operations Centre is operational.
  • Maintain discipline of boys in consultation with senior management.
  • Actively participate in primary/secondary portfolios.
  • Support implementation of relevant care/service model.

• Organized and executed about 150 MOE Schools' camps both locally and overseas
• Lead 20-30 instructors each camp to achieve the objective set out by the school for each camp
• Able to learn conflict management skills and teaching instructors in a quick and efficient manner given the nature having new staff every camp.
